The workshop marks the first meeting of a community of practice [1] for the green and digital transition, which will aim to identify the basic mode of operation and governance of the community, as well as the priorities and potential policy proposals that will emerge from the community functioning.

Participants will have the opportunity, among other things, to:

  • be informed about the benefits they can obtain, in collaboration with an ecosystem of Greek public administration bodies and businesses
  • capture, in round table discussions, their digital maturity and needs in the form of challenges
  • derive ideas for projects with the aim of increasing their efficiency and upgrading the quality of the services provided
  • participate in a community of practice for the green and digital transition of the public sector by setting their priorities.

In particular, the working meeting will initially present the components of the European Innovation Hub for Digital Governance, the benefits that can exist for the public sector, the effort to create an ecosystem of digital and green transformation agents to enhance innovation but and to achieve the digital transition of the Public Administration.

[1] Communities of practice are groups of people who share a common interest, profession or passion and engage in a collaborative learning process that creates bonds between members. A Community of Practice may develop naturally due to the shared interests of members in a particular domain or area, or it may be created with the aim of acquiring knowledge related to a particular domain. Through the process of sharing information and experiences with the group, members learn from each other and have the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
